Our story begins with 3 generations of quality construction and real estate experience in the southern Utah area.
Chester Jacobs' maternal grandparents first came to southern Utah when they traveled to Bryce Canyon on their honeymoon and fell in love with the area. Over the ensuing years they were able to acquire much of the private land comprising the greater Duck Creek area. In the early 1960’s, they and various partners began developing premier mountain home sites in Brian Head, and the subdivisions in and around Duck Creek.
Chester's father, who was a third generation plumber, decided to join his mothers’ family in Swains Creek during the early 1970’s to help with the real estate development and sales. It was during these early days in Swains Creek that he started building custom cabins.
Chester grew up working for his father during summers and school breaks, learning all the various trades, but, most importantly, how to build relationships through hard work, integrity, and providing value to our customers. During this time, he gained real estate sales experience and obtained his brokers license. Later, he started Castle Creek Realty to handle our client’s real estate needs. After completing a Business Management degree from Southern Utah University, he decided to join the business full time. Now, 19 years later, our sons are starting to make their own mark on the business, making 4 generations of working and living in these beautiful southern Utah Mountains we call home.

We are dedicated to providing our clients an exceptional experience from start to finish and are focused on creating exceptional living environments that enhance our clients’ lifestyles. Jacobs Construction has built our reputation on our integrity, the quality of our finished product and focusing on superior design and building methods, cost efficiency, deliverable timelines and quality materials that create excellent durability and lasting homes.
Historically, we narrowed our primary focus to mountain homes in Duck Creek, Brian Head, and other related, resort-style communities in southern Utah. Now we have decided to take that expertise of building outstanding mountain homes for clients living out of town, out of state, or even out of the country to all of southern Utah including Cedar City, St. George, Hurricane, and more. We also sell real estate, remodel, and build beautiful and functional outbuildings. We have long standing relationships with a network of local subcontractors and vendors that elevates the magnitude of what we can accomplish.
